Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 green apple cored and chopped
  • ½ cucumber chopped
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional
  • Ice cubes optional, if using fresh fruit

Method
 

  1. Add the spinach, frozen banana, frozen pineapple, chopped green apple, cucumber, almond milk, lemon juice, and ginger (if using) to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk until you reach your preferred consistency.
  4. Blend in the chia seeds or stir them in after blending, if using.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit for the creamiest texture.
  • Blend the spinach with the almond milk first for an extra smooth smoothie.
  • Adjust the thickness by adding more or less almond milk.
  • Add protein powder or Greek yogurt for a higher-protein version.
  • Enjoy immediately for the freshest flavor and brightest color.
