Ingredients
  

  • 1 shot espresso or ¼ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk or oat, almond, or soy milk
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio syrup adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios for garnish
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Ice cubes for an iced latte

Method
 

  1. Brew one shot of espresso or prepare a small cup of strong coffee.
  2. Heat the milk in a small saucepan or microwave until warm, then froth it using a milk frother, French press, or whisk.
  3. Pour the pistachio syrup into your mug and stir in the espresso.
  4. Add the warm milk, then spoon the milk foam over the top.
  5. Garnish with chopped pistachios and whipped cream, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.
For an Iced Pistachio Latte
  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Add the pistachio syrup and espresso, then stir together.
  3. Pour in the cold milk.
  4. Stir well, garnish with chopped pistachios if desired, and serve.

  • Adjust the amount of pistachio syrup depending on how sweet you like your latte.
