Method
- Add the avocado, frozen banana, cocoa powder, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup or honey (if using), and ice cubes to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high for 30-60 seconds, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust as needed. Add more milk for a thinner consistency or a little more sweetener if you'd like it sweeter.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, cacao nibs, or banana slices if desired.

- A frozen banana creates a thicker, creamier smoothie.
- Use a ripe avocado for the smoothest texture and mildest flavor.
